Mac Spencer

Mac Spencer is a 17 year old guitarist from Marion Junction, Alabama. His musical roots go deep, dating back to five generations to when his great great great grandfather, renowned fiddler Sol Hamm, brought his family from South Carolina to Perry County. The family has been playing live acoustic music in the area ever since, with Mac being the latest installment. Mac grew up in a house full of music, so a guitar was always in arms reach. He began making occasional stage appearances at age 10. In 2016, He began writing and performing original music. Mac is now studying and performing classical and jazz guitar with the Alabama School of Fine Arts.
